Kawasaki Hepatitis: A case report
Abstract
Kawasaki is an acute multisystemic disease affecting predominantly children below 4 years of age. Having a self-limited course it often presents as vasculitis. The principle complications of the disease are stomatitis, lymphadenopathy, skin rashes as well as involvement of cardiovascular, alimentary and nervous systems. Occurrence of hepatitis in this disease is a rare incidence. In this article we present a 2-year-old girl with Kawasaki hepatitis, which has responded satisfactorily to aspirin
