Hematogenous Panophthalmitis
Abstract
Septicemia is the leading cause of neonatal mortality. Its complications occur following hematogenous spread to other organs. Endophthalmitis is a rare event following sepsis, as infection rarely spreads to the eyes. In this article we report a 13-day-old male infant with hematogenous Panophthalmitis following neonatal sepsis
