Computer estimated fluid and electrolyte requirements in rehydration therapy

Abstract

In this article a computer program is introduced to compute the required volume of fluids and electrolytes (Na, K, Bicarbonate) for short time intravenous daily treatment of the patient with severe dehydration with respect to the body weight, severity of dehydration and temperature.
