A simple and low cost device for neonatal exchange transfusion

Abstract

A simple and low cost device, consisting of 2 3-wat stopcocks connected to each other making a 4-way stopcock, is proposed to replace the usual disposable blood exchange transfusion sets which are at present expensive and not easily available in this country.
