An interesting case of choledochal cyst

Abstract

In this article an interesting case of choledochal cyst in a 4-year old girl is reported with the following characteristics: 1-Absence of jaundice. 2-Presence of post-necrotic cirrhosis instead of biliary cirrhosis. 3-The only clinical symptom being an abdominal mass. 4-Absence of visible connection between the cyst and duodenum in intraoperative cholangiography. The question whether virus (Of hepatitis) has produced distal common bile due obstruction and consequently choledochal cyst, and also the way of bile drainage in this patient can not be answered
