Antibiotic sensitivity rates of bacteria in a children's hospital

Abstract

The results of bacteriologic culture of 13868 samples of different body fluids and discharges in the bacteriologic laboratory of the children's medical center in Tehran during 12 months (March 1997-April 1998) show that about 90% of the cultures were positive for different bacteria. The isolated bacteria were tested for sensitivity against the antibiotics currently available in Iran. The results are shown in 11 tablets
