This simple test delivers important information on hemoglobin, hematocrit, different blood cells (red and white blood cells. platelets) as well as their number and morphology. Provided that an experienced and responsible examiner with god knowledge of the patient's history performs the rest, this test can be of great importance in diagnosing, typing and evaluating the etiology of hematological and many other diseases.
