Shaken baby syndrome
Sajjadieh SMA

Abstract

Shaken baby syndrome is recognized by long bone fractures, subdural and retinal hemorrhages in children with different degrees of coma. Retinal bleeding is suggestive of this syndrome, which is a sign of violence to children. In head and neck traumas these hemorrhages are rare and seldom seen in this extent.
